Guilty as charged.
Murder, She Betta Don't is one gay writing the murder mystery kits nobody else would.
Here's the problem it exists to solve. Every murder mystery kit on the market is written straight by default. If you wanted to host one for your people, you did the work yourself — renaming the ingénue, un-marrying the husband and wife, quietly straightening out the seams so the night would fit the room. And even after all that surgery, the kit stayed polite. Sanitized for a general shelf. No sex, no mess, no teeth.
I got tired of doing the translation. So I stopped, and I wrote the kit I actually wanted to host: queer-first, adults-only, camp as a craft and not a costume. Every character, every secret, every filthy little clue assumes your table from the first word. Nothing to swap. Nothing to explain. Nothing to apologize for.
You print it at home, you pour something strong, and you hand your friends a night where somebody dies beautifully and nobody has to behave.
That's the whole story. Made by one of us — you'll be able to tell.
